A healthy spine has both outward and inward curves, allowing the spine to act like a shock absorber for the body. To much exaggeration in any curve increases the risk for injury. The health of your spine is literally your backbone for movement.

 

Your pilates instructor will design & guide you through a full body workout that will help you discover the specific areas that you need to focus on.

The same is true for functional movement. Chronic pain or injury in our bodies often encourages us to move less.

I've been there & feel your pain.  I found Pilates after getting into a car accident & suffering from a back injury.

Mobility, stability and pain relief were big motivating factors in my search for exercise that would help.

After finding Pilates I not only found pain relief but noticed a difference in my

overall strength, posture & the way I looked and felt. And because Pilates is mindbody work I was able to calm

my mind and connect in a way that gave me back a sense of control and a feeling of well being. 

 

I would love to help you find similar results in your body.
